Poetry About Tea: A Welcoming

Her collapse of the small: A Sip to silken memory: Flesh of honey, eyes of eve as Love begins: Harnessed of her power, She is daughter of the Red: Bliss, remind to so stir Time, Nectar, sound in cup. Slowly threatening her senses, Welcoming estate, she is dancer: Flora as her secrets, Unveiling in leaf. Character, written within touch of thought: Chance of lace, soft circuitry: Fires burn as deep, and lucid season of the reign of sweetest Spring, Cherry Blossom Dreams, and Jade bracelet, worn with candid etch and bitten neck of snow's slow hollow: Her senses, depthed in Scream... Thoughts to pose in chant and heart, in fail, her soul, encrypted along moods of seam and night, in herbal... She is dancer: Path to walk in skin and hardness: Radiance, be kind to Love... Harnessed of her flower, Poet of her Left Hand; circuits sensed through ease and flora's promise: Sweetened soul, so cast with hour. Until her path, ages devoured. Information About Tea: Concubine Oolong Tea, From Taiwan

Hailing from Taiwan, One of my personal favorite types of Oolong Tea, Concubine Oolong Tea. This special type consists of a deep gold liquor, alongside a very smooth, toasty/floral beginning and a satisfying robust finish. When Preparing this tea, it is best to add around 1-2 teaspoons loose leaf into your favorite tea filter, then rinse once, and steep as normal, so as to dilute some of the caffeine; I enjoy this tea with natural sweetener. One of my favorite teahouses in Ballard, Miro Tea, used to sell this special Oolong, but sadly, I found out that they are no longer selling this due to bad harvests. I admit, I was a little saddened by this news, since this tea was one of my favorites while visiting Miro Tea. They are still open, during the pandemic. Thank you all, for enjoying this Journey with me. Warmly, Princess Jamila <3

Information About Tea : Shotty Pekoe Black Tea from Sri Lanka

Image
One of my other personal favorite black teas, hailing from Sri Lanka : Shotty Pekoe. This robustly, beautiful black tea brews a deep hue in cup, and has a strong flavor profile, very similar to Golden Gunpowder Black tea, another one of my personal favorite types of black tea. This tea is also known as Ceylon black tea. I recall some time ago, a good friend of mine, also a tea enthusiast, who used to work at one of my favorite tea houses in the Seattle area, gave me, as a gift, 4 ozs of Shotty Pekoe (Ceylon) Black Tea, free of charge, loose leaf. An unforgettable experience. This tea is also called Batuwangala Shotty Pekoe, the original name of this exquisite tea. Warmly, Princess Jamila <3

Information About Tea : Gunpowder Green Tea

Hailing from China, one of my personal Favorite types of Chinese Green Tea : Gunpowder Green Tea. This robust tea is hand-rolled into small pellet-like shapes, similar to gunpowder, which, I discovered recently, was invented in China. I am part-Chinese, which is a factor as to why I enjoy the Art of Tea, so very much. Thank you all, for enjoying this journey with me. Gunpowder Green Tea brews a deep gold liquor, alongside a intensely smoky, nutty character, with a smooth finish. I enjoy writing poetry about Tea, as well. For this type of Tea, brew 1-2 teaspoons of Gunpowder Tea  leaves into your favorite filter; Put water set for around 180-190 degrees; Pour over leaves, and steep for around 2-4 minutes; Pour tea into your favorite tea cup,  Add your favorite natural sweetener (I enjoy this tea with Agave nectar or Sugar in the Raw, or a similar natural sweetener) And Enjoy.
